Are You in Error Because...
If you're pursuing your dreams, visions and goals,
Running a million miles a minute,
Spread too thin,
And have things keep slipping through the cracks,
Is that God?
If you're doubling your business,
Acheiving your goals,
But your health is flailing and relationships deteriorating,
Is that God that is wearing you down like that?
Many of us entrepreneurs have a love-abuse relationship with success and acheivement.
Yes, it may be our gifting,
Yes, it may enable us to do some amazing things,
But if it's not used for God in HIS ways,
What is really going on?
If you're seeing things suffer in your life that shouldn't,
Who is really winning, God or Satan?
There are a couple KEY truths about God that I have failed miserably at,
Things I missed and didn't even see,
Until I fell flat on my face,
Hit burnout,
And had no other option but to see it.
"Are you not in error because you do not know the Scriptures or the power of God?"
The sad thing is this...
We sacrifice things God never asked us to,
We do things God never told us to,
We ask for things that are not aligned with God's will,
And blame God when it doesn't work.
We make many ERRORS that could have been avoided,
And it comes down to this...
How well do we know scripture?
Do we APPLY it to our lives?
Remember that "satan comes disguised as an angel of light".
We slowly drift away from God's truth and into the ways of the world.
Let's take a look at 2 points and check our alignment.
1) DAILY GOD TIME
"Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts"
"But Jesus often withdrew to lonely places and prayed."
Do we do have a timeblock with God?
Do we protect our time with God?
Or does Satan have his way with us by saying "You're too busy. There's not enough time".
Who is winning that battle?
"Are you not in error because you do not know the Scriptures or the power of God?"
2) RESTING
"He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters"
"But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint."
God wants us to REST.
He does not want us working like a maniac year after year.
There are seasons of being busy but not a LIFESTYLE.
And God would never approve of a lifestyle that prevents you from spending time with Him. That's like cutting off someone's oxygen.
However, does Satan have us convinced that "You're too busy. There's not enough time"
Who is winning that battle?
"Are you not in error because you do not know the Scriptures or the power of God?"
These 2 simple things can drastically change the way you do life.
Satan has sucked the oxygen out of the spiritual life of sooooo many Christians.
We think being spiritually lame is normal.
We think guessing what God wants is normal.
We think NOT asking God questions is normal.
Who is winning that battle?
"Are you not in error because you do not know the Scriptures or the power of God?"
Here's 2 simple steps to get back in alignment with God.
1) Ask "Holy Spirit, what do you have to say about my schedule? What do you suggest?"
Then get quiet and listen. Write down anything you see, sense or feel. 3)
2) Then ask again "What do you mean by that? Can you tell me more?"
Then get quiet and listen. Write down anything you see, sense or feel.

"Dear Heavenly Father,
I come to You today to help me RE-ALIGN myself with You.
Show me what I am erroring in,
What me how I'm not APPLYING Your word,
Show me what Satan has deceived me.
I'm so used to doing things my way,
I'm so used to NOT spending time with You,
I'm so used to thinking I DON'T need to ask You,
Help me change my heart and mind.
Help me seek You in ALL things,
And lean NOT into my own understanding.
Let me REALLY know that Your ways are higher than mine,
Your thoughts are NOT like my own,
Therefore, I can't assume anything,
I must ask You about everything.
Re-program my brain from worldy ways to heavenly ways.
Your time is near,
The world is changing rapidly,
The enemy is desperate,
May I be a fierce warrior for You.
In Jesus name, Amen."
