Armor for Our Veterans...
In a day and time where the world teaches us to be self absorbed,
I'm grateful for brave men and women who have served our country,
A sacrifice this nation should be grateful for.
In an era where we want to be served instead of serving,
I'm grateful for a group of brave souls that lay their lives for our country,
A sacrifice this nation should be grateful for.
At a time when evil is called good and good is called evil,
I'm grateful for the men and women who protect our freedom to do so,
A sacrifice this nation should be grateful for.
The most powerful thing we can offer these brave souls,
Is the power of PRAYER,
PRAYING with one voice, with one mind,
The blessings and protection of our Heavenly Father,
Let's PRAY the Armor of God over their lives.
"Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you as a ONE nation under God,
To thank You for our brave men and women of service,
For hearts and minds that protect this country,
That have volunteered for service,
That have put their lives on the line.
"Therefore put on the full armor of God"
Lord, we pray to cover our Veterans in the most powerful armor of all,
The ARMOR of God.
"Stand therefore, having fastened on the belt of TRUTH"
We pray that every single Veterans will come to know Jesus,
And accept Him as Lord and Savior,
That through this TRUTH You will set them free.
We pray that every Veteran that is suffering PTSD would be set free from trauma and fear,
That every soldier would be set free from the spirit of spirit paranoia, anger, rage and death,
That every man and woman that served this country would be set free from anxiety, panic attacks and insomnia,
Lord, we set our Veteran men and women free in Jesus name!
"and having put on the breastplate of RIGHTEOUSNESS"
Lord, guard the hearts of all our brave Veterans,
Let only Your goodness and life flow from it,
That their thoughts, desires and actions be filled with love, joy and peace,
That they would be made holy and pleasing to You.
"as shoes for your feet, having put on the readiness given by the gospel of PEACE."
Lord, we pray PEACE over their lives,
A PEACE that only You can give and the world cannot take a way,
A PEACE that is so wonderful they would crave for more,
A PEACE that surpasses all understanding,
A PEACE where nothing's changed but everything's changed.
Lord, we pray your SUPERNATURAL PEACE over our Veterans today in Jesus name.
"In all circumstances take up the shield of FAITH, with which you can extinguish all the flaming darts of the evil one"
Lord, we place a hedge of protection, a shield of faith over our Veterans,
That no matter the circumstance,
They would see YOU and ONLY YOU,
That no storm, fire or hail can shake their faith,
We pray that all attempts by the enemy on their, peace, joy or loved ones crumbles to dust in Jesus name.
"and take the helmet of salvation"
Lord, we pray that their thoughts align with You always,
That any thought that exalts itself against You should crumble and fall,
That no doubt, fear or anxiety can take root,
That only Your peace, love and joy would prevail in Jesus name.
"and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God"
Lord, we pray a hunger for Your word for our Veterans,
That they would open up scripture and You would bring it to life,
That it would fill their soul and they would thirst for more.
Grant them a love for Your word like never before,
Transform them with Your word into a new being,
Mold them into a likeness of You in Jesus name.
"praying at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication."
Lord, we pray for the spirit of supplication to fall upon them,
That they would hunger and thirst for holy prayer,
That they would encounter with You in a life changing way.
We pray they learn the art of FIGHTING on their KNEES daily,
Making them even more powerful and dangerous than ever,
Grant them holy imagination to see bigger and better things You have planned for them,
That they would be filled with new hope and wonder through communion with You in prayer.
Fill them with Your Spirit and create in them a new heart and renew a right spirit within them.
