Election Day with Love

Let these truths transcend all politics and part lines.

If I vote and my candidate gets elected, but do not have love, I am only an empty shell with a ballot. 

If I have the gift of understanding politics, business, international affairs, but do not have love, I am nothing.



"If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but I do not have love, I gain nothing". 

"Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered. It keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trust, always hopes always perseveres. Love never fails". 

But where there are elections, terms will end. 
Where there are campaign promises, be forgotten. 
Where there is knowledge, it will pass away. 

All that we say and know now is a fragment of our current life, it is not all of what we need for a lifetime. 

Many things will come and go, needs will change, but the three things that will always be relevant is faith, hope, and love. But the greatest of these is love. 

So as you listen to election results rolling in...
Whether a state goes red or blue, if you don't lead with love in your heart it is all for naught. 

Why fill your heart with fear, anger, or frustration when you can fill it with faith, hope, and love?

For the exact same situation, exact same vote,  exact same results.

Live. Love. And Love some more.

Open the spiritual eyes of this country to see Your truth.
Give us the strength to act out of love instead of hate.

Forgive us for our sins as we forgive others.
Bless us with your love, mercy, and grace.
Your will be done in the USA as it is in heaven.
