God is Too Cool for Words...!

Day by day,
Trial by trial,
Victory by victory,
This verse becomes more real and meaningful.

"The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing."

As I continue to seek God each day,
Asking Him to make me HUNGRY for Him,
Even when I'm comfortable,
Nay...
ESPECIALLY when I'm comfortable,
So that I would not stray far from Him.

I ask that the Lord open my eyes so I can feel, sense and notice MORE of what He's doing that I couldn't see before.

Then I began to notice,
And I began to realize,
GOD IS TOO COOL FOR WORDS!

From the big things to the little things,
He takes care of my needs.
Lately, it's the LITTLE things that I see so much MORE of,
And I keep on thinking,
GOD IS TOO COOL FOR WORDS!



Example #1...

God is my REST.
 
There was a day where I was extremely fatigued,
I was barely staying awake,
So I lay down to rest,
When it was time to get up,
My body was heavy with tiredness,
And I had a feeling,
God is going to rearrange my schedule.
Sure enough,
My next appointment canceled,
And I drifted off to sleep.
What's cool is,
This hasn't happened just once,
Not just twice but who knows how many dozens and dozens of times and ongoing...
The fact that God gets into the details of my schedule,
GOD IS TOO COOL FOR WORDS!

"My steps have held fast to your paths; my feet have not slipped."


Example #2...

God is my GENEROSITY.

I was heading to church,
I grabbed a small container of homemade granola,
And Holy Spirit tickled my brain to take the whole QUART.
WHHAATT!??!
That was literally my whole stash, but I obeyed,
And at church, they had blueberries and yogurt,
And my granola was a perfect fit,
I shared it with my friends,
And they shared it with others,
And soon the whole church enjoyed it.
I would never have done that on my own,
But God is generous,
So He's teaching me generosity,
And Who'd a thunk it?
Holy Spirit likes to share food too. ^_^
GOD IS TOO COOL FOR WORDS!

"If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and eat with him, and he with me."


Example #3...

God is my PEACE.

I woke up 90 minutes later than normal,
My whole day felt up in the air,
I felt out of sorts,
Juggling and shuffling,
Seeking God and asking "Lord, what do You want me to do next?",
Hour by hour He led the way,
I had PEACE the whole day,
And whenever I was tempted to rush,
Holy Spirit would tickle my brain with,
"SLOW DOWN. DO NOT RUSH."
I would obey and the day ended PEACEFULLY as if it was meant to be.
GOD IS TOO COOL FOR WORDS!

"I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with my eye upon you."

God is in the daily details of life,
Small, medium and big,
They all add up,
And with trust, surrender and obedience day by day, hour by hour,
It's creates a whole NEW world,
Where my life becomes a living breathing miracle,
Where God's fingerprints are over everything,
And all I want to say is,
GOD IS TOO COOL FOR WORDS!

"Dear Heavenly Father,

Keep showing UP and showing OFF in my life,
Keep showing me how AWESOME You are,
Keep my eyes on You and not the world,
For there is nothing more important than You.

In Jesus name, Amen."
