Impact for Veterans
On this Memorial Day,
A day of remember those who gave their lives,
In service for our country,
The United States of America,
What can we do for them today that will make an IMPACT?
I can't help but think,
The single most powerful thing we can do,
Is PRAYER.
Right here,
Right now,
As a country,
Together,
For maximum IMPACT.
Let's ask Holy Spirit,
"How should we PRAY for our Veterans that have passed?
What can we do?
What would they want?"
I can't help but think,
The Veterans would want PRAYER...
For their family,
For their children,
For their spouse,
For other Veterans,
Who are struggling,
On the brink of insantiy,
In depressions,
PTSD,
Suicide,
For the effects of war are tragic.
I can't help but think,
The Veterans would want PRAYER...
For the country,
Not to trash the country they sacrificed their lives for,
But to cherish it,
To breathe new life and hope into it,
To stand on their shoulders to bring about transformation,
In partnership with God and all of heaven's resources.
No matter the current condition,
We must hope and PRAY for a breakthrough for tomorrow.
Becasue PRAYER unleashes angel armies into this country,
Because PRAYER makes the impossible possible,
Because PRAYER is the single most powerful weapon we have against evil.
That is why God is tells us...
"I urge that supplications, PRAYERS, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people, for kings and all who are in high positions, that we may lead a peaceful and quiet life, godly and dignified in every way."
For we can be assured that God is listening,
All of heaven is waiting,
For us to turn the key,
To unlock the door,
For the victories of heaven to become our own,
In this country and for our Veterans.
For Jesus is the FIRST Veteran for this beautiful country,
Before it was even born,
He died so that we might live,
His death made this country possible,
What would Jesus as the FIRST Veteran for our country want?
"If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land."
He wants us to call on His name,
"Jesus, Jesus, Jesus!
Forgive us,
Come heal our lands,
And restore our nation and our faith in You."
This country is socially and morally decrepit.
Our country desperately needs PRAYER to turn the tide.
Imagine if every man, woman, child PRAYED for this country,
What would be possible?
After all, this is at the root a SPIRITUAL battle first.
To corruption we see in the physical is the result of the spiritual battle occuring in our midst.
"For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places."
Physical weapons will NOT destroy the spiritual forces of evil.
Our Veterans gave their lives,
And it's turn we give our PRAYERS,
To do only what God can do.
For God is victor,
He always wins,
And we have lost much,
That means we need God,
Desperately so.
And it all starts with PRAYER.
If you believe in the power of PRAYER,
Let's bow our heads in prayer,
For our Veterans,
The FIRST Veteran Jesus,
And all the others that followed,
Who gave their life so we can live ours.
"Dear Heavenly Father,
We thank You for this blessed day,
For this blessed country,
For the sacrifices of so many Veterans, including Jesus, that gave their life for this country.
Though we have sinned,
Though we have strayed much away from You,
We come to You as ONE BODY,
As ONE VOICE,
To ask for Your forgiveness,
To ask for Your mercy.
Hear our prayers,
Come heal our lands,
Come heal our Veteran families, spouses and children,
Come heal the Veterans currently suffering from torment of every kind,
Come touch their hearts, body and mind to transform and renew them.
Restore their losses,
Restore their hurt and brokenness,
Restore their relationship with You.
Bless them with Your presence,
Bless them with Your love,
Bless them with your abundant provisions, grace and mercy.
In Jesus name, let loose heavenly angels to bring untold favor and provision to the Veteran families,
May their children be blessed in multiples for their service,
May their family draw closer to You,
May they become spiritual warriors that lead angel armies,
May they turn the tide for this country in a whole new way.
Lord, we unleash the fullness of your plans over this country,
All our Veterans' family and loved ones,
We call upon Your promises for a hope and future for every single child, spouse or loved one left behind by our Veterans who gave their life.
Let their sacrifice be rewarded abundantly.
We believe in You for justice, peace and everlasting life.
Thank You Jesus for being the FIRST Veteran for our country,
Thank You for Your sacrifice that even made this country possible.
Thank You Jesus,
Thank You Holy Spirit,
Thank You Father,
In Jesus name, Amen."
