Keep Fighting on Your Knees...
After a much heated election,
Whether you're red or blue,
Left or right,
Donkey or elephant,
Take heart,
The spiritual battle is not over,
We must keep fighting on our KNEES in prayer.
Though the election is over,
And the ballots may be at rest,
But Satan is not.
The devil is still at large,
Warring against this blessed country,
And now more than ever,
We must band together as one body in Christ and,
Keep fighting on our KNEES in prayer.
Do not be sad or excited about who's in office,
Just keep Your eyes on God and His kingdom,
And remember the higher truth that,
"The king's heart is a stream of water in the hand of the Lord; he turns it wherever he will."
God can use a donkey or an elephant,
God can use a Republican or Democrat,
God can use a red or blue,
To heal and save this country from evil,
As long as we,
Keep fighting on our KNEES in prayer.
Let's be honest...
We must own the fact that our country got this bad,
Because Christians have neglected our duty to,
Keep fighting on our KNEES in prayer.
"I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people, for kings and all who are in high positions, that we may lead a peaceful and quiet life, godly and dignified in every way."
It's the earnest prayers God's children that protect this country from Satanic forces,
It's the earnest prayers of Christians that will deploy angel armies into this country,
It's the earnest prayers of a Godly repentent people that will unleash the mercies of God to pour out His Spirit to cleanse and heal our land.
"If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land."
So how earnestly are we praying?
How regularly do you pray for the country?
How many times have you gotten on your knees for this country?
How many times have you urged others to do the same?
How many times have you explained to someone why it's important?
There's no guilt, no shame in these questions.
I just want to point you to a SIMPLE solution.
Are you willing to change?
Are you willing to invest a minute each day,
To get down and fight on your KNEES in prayer for this country?
Are you willing to set an alarm on your phone?
Once a day or once a week?
Are you willing to put it in your calendar as a repeat event?
Even if it's for 1 minute a day, 5 minutes a week,
Anything greater than ZERO is a win!
Let's fight together on our KNEES in prayer.
Prayer is the single most powerful weapon that we have,
It's a spiritual nuclear bomb,
It destroys Satan's plans, schemes and devices,
More powerful than a thousand man-made bombs.
If you feel helpless about our country,
Don't be,
Just keep fighting on your KNEES in prayer.
Pray to the Lord God Almighty to remind our leaders,
"Therefore, you kings, be wise; be warned, you rulers of the earth. Serve the LORD with fear and celebrate his rule with trembling."
"Honor everyone. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honor the emperor."
Never be hopeless but be empowered,
Waste no energy in talking evil of our leaders,
No matter how corrupt they are,
As scripture specifically tells us NOT to do that.
(I know, easier said than done.)
"Remind them to be submissive to rulers and authorities, to be obedient, to be ready for every good work, to speak evil of no one, to avoid quarreling, to be gentle, and to show perfect courtesy toward all people."
If you think a person in government is evil or corrupt,
Great!
God gave you an assignment,
God gave you a target,
To pray the HELL right out of them!
If you have energy to be frustrated, furious, anxious or fearful,
Channel that energy to good use and,
Keep fighting on your KNEES in prayer.
Pray earnestly in LOVE for that politician's soul,
That every seed of evil in them would be destroyed,
That they would have a life changing encounter with Jesus,
That they would be transformed by his love.
Don't waste energy praying for their failure,
Instead pray for God's success in their life,
That will change EVERYTHING.
Imagine...
If every corrupt, evil, politician gets touched by God's Spirit,
Then it's game over,
Ding dong the witch is dead.
The solution is simple,
Pray for God's will be done,
Keep fighting on our KNEES in prayer.
"Let everyone be subject to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God."
"Dear Heavenly Father,
Help me not put faith in man or a political party but in You.
Help me love all the politician as You have commanded,
Help me love the HELL right out of them,
Help me pray for their salvation,
Help me pray for their faith,
Help me pray for their redemption,
Help me pray for their cleansing,
Help me pray that they encounter You Jesus,
And transform into a Godly spiritual warrior.
Help me see beyond party politics,
Help me see past the corruption,
Help me see through the despair,
And tap in to Your infinite power to change hearts and minds.
In unity with my brothers and sisters in Christ,
I pray for a Godly nation,
I pray for a Godly senate,
I pray for a Godly house,
I pray for a Godly president,
I pray for a Godly vice president,
I pray for a Godly cabinet,
I pray for Godly judges,
I pray for Godly committees and leaders,
I pray for a Godly FBI,
I pray for a Godly CIA,
I pray for a Godly IRS,
I pray for Godliness in every department, level and branch of government from nation to state and local.
We pray God for Your Holy Spirit to be poured out onto us.
We call upon your promise that,
'I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you will be clean; I will cleanse you from all your impurities and from all your idols. I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh. And I will put my Spirit in you and move you to follow my decrees and be careful to keep my laws.'
Come Lord, come!
Heal this nation,
Cleanse us,
Revive us,
Light a fire in us that can't be quenched,
We LOVE You,
We PRAISE You,
In Jesus name, Amen."
