Prayer for Military Loved Ones...
Memorial Day is a day to honor the military men and women who lost their lives defending this country.
For many families this day strikes the heart with mixed feelings,
Sadness of a loved one,
Yet proud of their service to their country.
This nation is ever grateful for all the men and women in service,
And the families that have also sacrificed so much.
If you are hurting today,
Remember that Jesus is right beside you,
Crying with you,
Holding your hand,
And holding your heart.
"He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds."
To all the hurting hearts that have lost a loved one in the military...
"Dear Heavenly Father,
We come to you with humility and gratitude,
For watching over this land,
Blessing us in ways never seen before in history.
Many men and women have served to protect this country,
To be one nation under God,
Indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.
The families that are left behind,
Still in this world and missing their loved one,
We pray that You comfort their hearts today,
Draw them close to You,
Send angels of provision, favor and healing,
That they would live the full life You have planned for them.
Increase their faith,
Increase their curiosity about You,
Increase their personal relationship with You,
For that is the greatest blessing anyone can have,
To EXPERIENCE You more deeply each day.
We also lift up this country,
Pray for peace and Godly leaders to emerge,
To be a shining light for You in this darkening world.
Although things seem so corrupt and hopeless,
May we remember that You specialize in impossible turnarounds,
You are the Father of mission impossibles made POSSIBLE,
You are the healer of LANDS and NATIONS.
Bless the families who have sacrificed,
Bless our leaders and draw them close,
Bless this country,
And Your will be done,
On earth as it is in heaven.
Hear the prayers of Your saints all across the country and globe,
Repenting for this country,
On our knees,
In fasting and prayer,
As we call upon your promise,
That if Your people call out to You,
You will hear us and come and heal our land.
Lord, wake up a spiritual army of men, women, young, old, born again, found again,
So hot and on fire for You,
That we would fulfill the Great Commission in such excellence,
It would give you justifiable reason,
To come back to us even one day sooner,
Show us the way,
Help us follow.
In Jesus name, Amen."
Keep the faith and fight on your knees for this country.
Don't give up.
Prayers are the most powerful weapon on this earth.
John Wesley says, "God does nothing but in answer to PRAYER."
