Prayer for the Fires...
Let's join our hearts in prayer for the people affected by the California fires.
Many are suffering,
Many have lost much,
There are some that are in shock,
There are some that don't know what to do,
Lord, help them all.
I've seen reports that,
10,000 structures have been burned,
38,629 acres consumed by flames,
92,000 evacuated,
24 died.
Lord, help them all.
"Dear Heavenly Father,
Help us, Father,
Help us weak and feeble humans.
How do You want us to pray?
The winds are great,
The fires are hot,
It consumes everything and destroys,
Anything that stands in it's path.
Only You can stop this,
No human effort can prevail,
Our methods are so limited,
So we turn to You, Lord Father.
Have mercy on California,
Have mercy on Your children,
Have mercy on this country,
Have mercy Lord, have mercy.
May hearts turn toward you in these times of need,
May You send divine provisions,
May You release Your heavenly angels to hold back the fires,
May You send rain to squelch the flames.
May we join together in prayer,
Across all denominations,
To unite as on voice to say,
Help Father, help.
May we be taught to unite in these times of need,
May we be strengthened by faith and fellowship,
May we be comforted by Your love and peace,
Help Father, help.
We love You,
We praise You,
We bless You,
Your will be done.
