Provoke Others to Jealousy

Your job description...

What if your job description as a child of God was to "Provoke Others to Jealousy" in your relationship with God.

I have a friend that does that.
She provokes me to jealousy every day.
Her relationship with God is so close and intense I love it.
Her love for God isn't lukewarm, it's HOT!

She is in the health industry, treating everyone from critical cancer patients to pediatrics, but her underlying goal is to share Jesus with everyone God puts in front of her.

She's not pushy, bible thumpy or cheesy, but she lets the Holy Spirit lead her when and where.

She's bold when she needs to be and silent as well.
She listens closely to the Holy Spirit throughout the day.
Although she's back-to-back on appointments with physician, critical care patients, and consultations, she's always talking to God and checking in with Him.

She's bold about praying with people and prays for them in silence too.
She's bold about sharing Jesus when the time is right.
She's ok with not mentioning His name at all.
I love it.

One day, she mentioned her business is planning is with God.
I become curious.
After watching her operate for months and it was obvious she was burning with fire, it provoked me to curiosity and jealousy.

I asked questions.
I wanted to know more about what made her tick and how she did things.
She share what and how she did business with God.
So for the first time ever, I decided to do Business Planning with God.

Here's what I did...
I put aside 1 whole day in fasting and prayer.
I heard of others doing this but I never did.
Until that day, when I didn't eat for a day it wasn't for God, it was cuz I was too busy or sick.

So on that New Year's Day, I intentionally fasted seek God's guidance and wisdom in life and business.
What does he want me to desire?
What does he want for my business? And life?
I spent time in prayer and meditation (quiet time) with God in the morning, noon and evening.

Things started to happen.
Many things I wouldn't know about until almost a year later.
11 months and 26 days to be exact.
God moving in the background as He heard my prayer and saw me submit my flesh in fasting.
In faith, I continued to pray into these hopes, dreams and goals.
In faith, I read them daily and engraved them into my heart.

I didn't know Business Planning with God could be so powerful.
I am shocked and awed at the inspiration and words that came from an intentional 1 day fast to seek God for guidance.

Don't get me wrong...
I'm a work in progress by a long shot.
But I see His hand in every part of my life and I love it.

God is showing me and my team how to shine his light.
Quite frankly, we're the ones benefitting.
We are happier, more united, more kind, gentle, forgiving and aware of our short-comings and asking God to meet us where we are at, to help us, strengthen us and grow with His strength.

It's beautiful.
And I want to share it with you.
I want you to know that you can have a hot, soul-shaking relationship with God in your business and life.

In your everyday business, you can provoke others to jealousy with your relationship with God.
We dodn't have to be closet Christians.
We can seek to find those around us that are brothers and sisters in Christ every day.

You'd be surprised.

I gently urged you to become curious about Business Planning with God so you can provoke others to jealousy and draw closer to God.

Consider fasting for 1 day and praying for guidance.
Submit the flesh, strengthen your spirit, and let God lead.

Just a thought.

Let me know how I can support you or if you have any questions.
