Prune Me...
Are you with me in saying...
Lord, if there is anything that stands in the way,
Between You and me,
If there is any shred of pride,
PRUNE me.
Lord, if there is anything that I fear more than You,
An idol above You my Lord,
Tear it away and,
PRUNE me.
Lord, if there is any part of me,
Any desires or dreams or goals,
That dare stand against Your will,
Don't hold back and,
PRUNE me.
Lord if there's any part of me,
That is weak in character or faith,
Any part that will crumble under a test,
Lord hold me back and,
PRUNE me.
Lord if there is a thought in my heart,
Any unforgiveness or offense,
Any ill thought or judgment flowing out of me,
Stop it now and,
PRUNE me.
Lord, if there is a lust for wordly things,
Greed of the heart disguised as purpose,
A false humility wrapped as service,
Don't let it grow but instead,
PRUNE me.
Lord, if there is any part of me not ready,
Untrusting and doubtful,
Stubborn in my ways,
Don't let me off the hook and,
PRUNE me.
Lord do ALL that You want in me,
And do not hold back nor delay,
Lord complete Your good works and strengthen me,
Purify me in Your fire,
Let nothing remain that is not of You and,
PRUNE me.
Do all that is holy and pleasing to You,
Do all that You desire,
Do all that You see fit,
Make all your plans succeed in me by,
PRUNING me.
