Self-Imposed Stress...
There are times in life when things seems too much that we don't know when we're going to crumble or bust, but remember...
"The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing."
How much of the stress is from the impression that you lack,
Or wanting something now that God will provide?
"He makes me lie down in green pastures,
He leads me beside quiet waters"
How many times do we push ourselves too hard when God is telling us to rest?
"He refreshes my soul. He guides me along the right paths for His name’s sake."
Oh, how God wants to refresh our mind, body and spirit.
Oh, how God wishes we would be still enough to hear His voice.

"Even though I walk through the darkest valley,
I will fear no evil, for You are with me;
Your rod and your staff, they comfort me."
What will God not provide?
What is God already providing?
Are you not satisfied with His manna?
Are you not seeing His provisions?
"You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies.
You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows."
Oh how God has such plans for you!
Plans to prosper you and give you hope and a future.
"Surely Your goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever."
If we could only see how GOOD the Lord is,
If we could only TRUST in the Lord, our God,
If we could only BELIEVE in His GOODNESS and generosity,
We would be so much less stressed.
How much of our stress is self-imposed by our fears and wants?
How much of our stress is because we want things now?
TRUST in the Lord your God.
"The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still."
"Dear Heavenly Father,
Help me TRUST in You,
Help me REST in You,
Help me KEEP my eyes on You,
Help me SEE Your goodness,
Help me APPRECIATE Your generosity,
Help me SURRENDER to Your timing and will,
Help me get rid of the self-imposed stress and fear.
In Jesus name, Amen."
Cheers to being lighter and happier today! Wohooo!!!
