Our Story
There's something in every one of us that wants to make a difference.
But how?
How are we meant to make a difference?
I believe the clue lies in our greatest joy.
True joy.
Not just superficial joy from buying a new car or house, but a deep joy that lights up the very core of our heart and being.
Life itself is a journey that helps us realize and discover this "joy zone".
When we find this answer, we come closer to a much bigger question...
"What is my purpose?"
When I asked myself this question, I traveled down the following path in my mind...
(Track with me for a sec regardless of your belief...)
If you believe in God is "good", then logic would stand to say He would create joy around your purpose.
Otherwise, it would be cruel to have your purpose be surrounded by dread and obligation.
So a good God would fill your purpose with joy, fulfillment and happiness.
Then, I questioned where I found great joy and this is what I discovered.
Of all the different companies I started, investments made or properties built here's what I enjoyed the most.
I love seeing people grow in their leadership.
I love seeing people go from shy and scared to courageous and empowered.
I love seeing people step into their true form and power.
I love seeing people become kind and gentle from strong and cold.
I love seeing them awakening leaders in others.
I love imagining the infinite possibilities of the ripple effect of waking up leaders that wake up others.
When I realized a truth... "with my last dying breath if I woke up another leader, I would die with a smile on my face", I knew I was onto something.
So I reached out to a local church who introduced me to some schools and in 2 hours of effort I was booked to be in front of 500 high school students in my community.
The message that was born from this was "Wake Up Leader".
It's the belief that everyone is a leader.
It's the understanding that every leader is different.
It's the vision of waking up the leader in everyone.
It's the hope that the more leaders we have in this world, the better the world will be.
By default, we are taught to be great followers and employees, but rarely leaders, innovators and entrepreneurs.
We are programmed to think...
Breaking the rules is bad.
Color inside the lines.
Follow the leader.
You're not the leader.
Then who is the leader?
Why not you?
Why not all of us?
Why not your kids?
Why not your wife?
Why not the shy girl in the corner?
Why not the weird boy slumping in his chair?
Who says there can only be one leader in a group?
Who says the one person knows it all?
Who says there has to be conflict with multiple leaders?
Who says being a leader is for a select few?
I wish the world to know is...
Leadership is a part of everyone.
Leadership is fun.
Leadership is cool.
Leadership is kind.
Leadership is gentle.
Leadership is powerful.
Leadership is unstoppable.
Leadership is coming from the heart.
Leadership is being authentic and vulnerable.
Leadership is making dreams come true.
Not everyone is tapping into their leadership.
Wake Up Leader is simple.
It's waking people up to their unique, special leader inside of them.
It's waking people up to their super power.
It's waking people up to their greatness.
I invite every heart moved by this message to lend their voice.
I invite every mother that wants to help her children.
Every husband that wants to see his wife glow.
Every teacher that wants to empower their students.
Every human that knows that leadership is the way to our best life.
What most people don't know is...
When you're a true leader,
You serve rather than be served.
You protect rather than harm.
You solve rather than conflict.
You heal rather than hurt.
In a world full of...
Racism, violence, poverty, drugs, division.
Leadership is knowing that behind every angry face is a broken heart.
It's not about removing the bad, it's about adding more good.
Let's not "chemo" treat the world.
Let's not destroy everything just to remove the bad.
Let's fill it with good so there's no room for the bad.
Let's wake up leaders to be the good in the world.
Let's wake up leaders to heal the world.
Let's wake up leaders to create abundance and prosperity.
Now is the perfect time.
This is the generation where people with no arms or legs can rise to become millionaires.
This is the generation where a "nobody" with a passion can start a movement.
This is the generation where information, power and influence is transferred at light speed.
Without leadership, the power and influence will make people crumble.
Without leadership, the power and influence will corrupt.
Without leadership, we will believe in nothing and fall for everything.
Our request is that you lend us your voice and we will fill it with a message to wake up leaders.
