You Can't Hear God...
In this crazy world where,
Where you're pulled in a thousand directions,
You can't HEAR God,
If you won't BE STILL.
"BE STILL, and know that I am God"
The world has convinced you there's never enough time,
But God says He's always on time,
But you can't HEAR Him say that,
If you're not willing to BE STILL.
"The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise as some count slowness, but is PATIENT toward you"
In a world where a panic attack is normal,
Only God's voice gives PEACE to soothe your soul,
But you can't HEAR God,
If you won't BE STILL.
"I have said these things to you, that in me you may have PEACE."
In a world where impatience is glorified,
Satan keeps you busy and occupied,
So you can't HEAR God,
And made you forget how to BE STILL.
"BE STILL before the Lord and wait patiently for Him"
You are designed to hear God,
He is speaking to you all the time,
But you can't HEAR God,
Because you must BE STILL.
"My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me"
"Dear Heavenly Father,
I want to hear your voice,
I want to be LED by Your voice,
I want to REST in Your voice,
I want to feel the PRESENCE of Your voice.
Teach me to BE STILL,
Show me how to BE STILL,
Remind me to BE STILL,
Change my heart to BE STILL.
May I TRUST in You,
May I SEEK You with all my heart,
May I LISTEN for Your voice,
May I OBEY in excellence.
Show me the way and help me follow,
In Jesus name, Amen."
