You Do Your part, I'll Do Mine...
There are times in business when you have the big picture,
The big desire,
The end vision,
But the in between can be vague.
You may have even had a powerful start,
Everything seemed to be going well,
But somewhere in the middle,
It's bogging down,
And now you're unsure.
You may be in this unsure state for a while,
And it may even feel like you're treading water,
And wondering if you're even doing the right thing,
Wondering if God is with you in this.
The answer is YES.
God is with you,
Wherever you go,
Whatever you do.
"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding."
And even though things may not make sense,
Even though you may feel lost,
Know this above all else,
God's got you,
And He's still guiding you.
"Whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you, saying, 'This is the way; walk in it.'"
When things look messed up,
It's not at all what you had imagined,
It seems far from you destination,
Be assured that God is saying,
"You do your part, I'll do Mine...".
When it feels like you're stuck in the tar pit,
Or caught in quick-sand,
In times like these, God is whispering into your heart,
"You do your part, I'll do Mine...".
When the next 10 steps seem unclear,
The the only thing you see is fog,
You can barely figure out the 1 next thing to do... do THAT.
For surely the Lord is telling you,
"You do your part, I'll do Mine...".
When all your brilliant ideas may have hit the floor,
And the only thing left are unsolved challenges,
Remember the Lord is right there next to you saying,
"You do your part, I'll do Mine...".
The great thing about God is He will meet you where you're at,
He will pick you up from where you fell,
And carry you through the greatest challenges of your life.
"Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see."
Be stubborn,
Refuse to give in to the enemy,
As Satan tries to whisper hopelessness into your heart.
Instead, stand strong and wield the sword that God gave you and declare,
I WILL "Trust in the Lord with [my] all heart, and do not lean on [my] own understanding."
I WILL "Commit [my] way to the Lord; trust in him, and he will act."
For God said "I will never leave you nor forsake you." AND I WILL STAND ON HIS PROMISE. AMEN!
If things are hard for you right now,
If the market is shifting faster than you can adjust,
You're uncertain about your financial future,
You're doubting your profession,
Or you're just tired or scared,
Remember that God will surely do HIS part so do yours.
Your part is...
To seek God every day,
To ask God questions,
To wait for answers,
Ask how you can serve Him today,
And take one baby step at a time.
God is gentle,
He is not a taskmaster,
God is understanding,
He is not impatient,
God knows your heart,
And He has the whole world in His hand.
"Do not be anxious about ANYTHING, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the PEACE of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."
"Dear Heavenly Father,
I lay down at your feet all my burdens,
All the things not working out,
All my fears,
All my worries.
As the market is shifting,
As the future is uncertain,
As things are not going my way,
I look to You for answers.
Speak Lord, your servant is listening.
Teach me to HEAR You,
Teach me to WAIT on You,
Teach me to OBEY You,
In Jesus name, Amen."
Take it one step at a time with Jesus,
Take a breather and spend some extra time with Him,
He WILL see you through.
