You Obviously Don't Know Who My Father Is...
Too often I forget that our Father in Heaven is the bomb dot com,
He created the heavens and the earth with a breath of His words,
He birthed planets and universes with the sound of His voice,
He commands the winds and the seas by a wave of His hand,
What have I to fear?
So when the enemy tries to plant thoughts of fear,
When he tries to sow seeds of doubt,
When he tries to make your problems bigger than life,
Just say "You OBVIOUSLY don't know who my Father is."
When worry and anxiety come knocking at your door,
If you're uncertain about the market,
You're losing clients,
Cash flow is tight,
And the enemy is saying, "How are you going to make it?"
Give him an unimpressed glance and say,
"You OBVIOUSLY don't know who my Father is."
When it seems like there's not enough time,
When you can't seem to catch a break from the chaos,
And the enemy is saying, "Hurry up. You're never going to catch up. There's not enough time."
Give him the stink-eye and say,
"You OBVIOUSLY don't know who my Father is."
When thoughts of frustration burden your heart,
You feel like you're not making enough progress,
Things are going slower than you want,
And the enemy is saying, "Is this it? Do more. This isn't good enough."
Swap him like a fly and say,
"You OBVIOUSLY don't know who my Father is."
Jesus is our daily BREAD,
He has provided us with EVERYTHING we will ever need,
We just need to REMEMBER who He is and TRUST Him.
"Therefore do not worry about tomorrow",
Take one day at a time,
And if you find yourself worrying just say,
"I will REMEMBER who my Father is."
Fear not,
Worry not,
God's got you,
TRUST Him.
